Results of the NOVAIR oxygen generator LCA study: eco-responsible advantages demonstrated

NOVAIR shares the results of an independent Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) study, carried out in 2024 by Primum (Grant Thornton Group) and reviewed by the Pôle Eco Conception. The main objective of this study was to compare, in figures, the environmental impact of the solutions proposed by NOVAIR with conventional solutions (deliveries in bottles or liquid bulk). The study highlighted the environmental benefits of producing medical oxygen directly on site, as an alternative to cylinders delivered under high pressure or in bulk liquid form.

Calculation hypothesis:

Annual production of a Premium 130 oxygen generator: 92T of O2.
Average distance between hospital and gas production plant: 130 km, which corresponds to the average distance between a healthcare facility and a cryogenic distillation plant in France.
